Terms of Service

Last updated: 10 August 2026

These terms apply to your use of the Dashwall website (dashwall.io) and the Dashwall service (app.dashwall.io), operated by Flatfish Software Solutions in the Netherlands. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

Your account

You need an account to create boards. Keep your password and any machine credentials issued from your account — API keys, webhook tokens, and OAuth grants to connected applications — confidential. Anything done with your credentials, including changes made by an AI agent or application you connected, counts as done by you. Tell us at hello@dashwall.io if you believe a credential has been compromised; we may rotate or revoke credentials that appear to be misused.

Plans and limits

The Free plan includes 1 board with up to 3 tiles. The Pro plan includes up to 10 boards with up to 12 tiles per board. Technical limits — such as the webhook rate limit of 60 requests per minute per tile and the 500 data points of history kept per tile — exist to keep the service fast for everyone. The current plans and limits are always listed on the pricing page.

Billing and payments

Pro costs $29 per month or $290 per year, billed in USD. Payments are processed by Polar, acting as merchant of record — Polar is the seller of record for your subscription and handles payment, invoicing, and VAT or sales tax. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal linked on your account page; your subscription then runs to the end of the period you already paid for and does not renew. Refunds are not automatic — for a refund request, contact us at hello@dashwall.io.

Public display links

Boards are shown on screens through a public display link that needs no login — that is the point of the product, and it means anyone who has the link can view the board. Treat the link accordingly: do not put data on a board that must not be visible to whoever the link reaches, and be deliberate about where you share it. You are responsible for the content of your boards and for where their links are shared and shown.

Acceptable use

Do not use Dashwall to display or distribute unlawful content, do not attempt to probe, disrupt, or overload the service, do not work around plan limits or rate limits, and do not resell access to the service without our agreement. We may suspend accounts that do.

Webhooks, API, and agents

Machine access runs through webhook tokens, API keys with scopes, and OAuth grants. We may change technical details of these interfaces as the product evolves; where a change would break an existing integration, we announce it in advance. Access granted to an application can be withdrawn, and API keys can be revoked, at any time from your dashboard.

Your data and content

The metrics you push to Dashwall remain yours. You grant us the limited right to store and display them as needed to operate the service — that is the only thing we use them for. Metric history is capped at 500 data points per tile; it is an operational window for sparklines and charts, not a backup, so keep your source data in your own systems.

Availability and changes to the service

We run Dashwall with reasonable skill and care, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability, and the service is provided "as is". Features may evolve; we will not remove a capability material to your paid plan mid-subscription without the notice described below.

Changes to these terms and to pricing

We may update these terms and our pricing. For a material change — including a price increase that affects an active subscription — we give at least 30 days' notice by email before it takes effect, and you can cancel before that date if you do not agree. A change never degrades what you already paid for inside a running paid period.

Termination

You can stop using Dashwall and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate an account that materially breaches these terms; where reasonable, we will warn you first. After account deletion your boards, tiles, and metric history are removed.

Intellectual property

The Dashwall name, wordmark, and the design of the website and product belong to Flatfish Software Solutions. You may not reproduce them without permission.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Flatfish Software Solutions is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or the service, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands.
